Working with the Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce and local
businesses we are working to develop a BID in Hamilton which is intended to lay the foundations to the development of an action plan designed to revitalise our town centre.

The BID currently being developed will ensure that all local
businesses have their say on the future of the town and are given a real chance to work together to increase footfall, attract new
businesses into the town and in effect make Hamilton a better place to live, work and do business.

Over the coming weeks we will be establishing a steering committee to guide the BID process forward. We will certainly be looking for volunteers to serve on that group because we feel that it is important that the BID is developed by local businesses for the benefit of local businesses.

In the interim we really want to hear from as many people as possible on what measures they would like to see being taken to improve Hamilton Town Centre. All businesses in the town will be issued with a questionnaire to enable us to build up a picture of the key issues which collectively businesses feel need to be addressed.
